JuJu Watkins delivers heartfelt message in first words since her injury

JuJu Watkins spoke out for the first time since her torn ACL that kept her out of USC's run in the women's NCAA tournament, and she waited until her team was eliminated by UConn on Monday night.

The Trojans star who's gotten so much support (and whose Funko Pop version was a good luck charm for the team) had this to say on her Instagram Story: "Thank you all for the incredible love and support. Seeing all your messages and kind words has meant the world to me -- y'all have given me so much hope."

"Right now," she continued, "my heart is with my teammates -- I wish I could have been out there battling, but I couldn't be prouder of the fight we've fought together. Thank you all."
