My Google-Fu is failing me here, as there are too many possible combinations and options for what I'm looking for and I'm having trouble narrowing it down. We've been in this home for about 18 months, and the under-cab LED strip is flickery/failing on one cabinet section. It's definitely the connector as pushing on it / messing with it will cause the lights to come back on strong, flicker, or fail depending on how it's poked/prodded. Googling LED connectors doesn't bring up any images that looks just like this.
My noob questions for any that know. Rather than just taking it apart and risking making it worse (trying to avoid a $150-$200 service call for what is likely a 50 cent part) I thought I'd try the hive mind first.
I need to learn more about these simple LED strips. Any good tutorial links would also be appreciated. They're installed in almost every room here for indirect lighting. The staircase railings also all have wiring already fed into them for under-rail lighting, but I didn't want to pay the builder-asked $3K to actually put the LED strips and housings in when we were moving in. Seemed like something I could do later and we had far higher priority expenses.

- Anyone recognize the white plastic connector circled in the pic?
- Does it require a special tool/crimper to work with? Are the connectors somewhat universal?
- Do you have to replace the entire LED strip or just the connector? Those white LED strips are very cheap, just trying to get out of as much work as I can without calling in help.
