Christianity may not be perfect, but it isn't on the same playing field anymore as Islam. Hasn't been for hundreds of years since people started following the New Testament, which was very tame by comparison to the Old Testament, which shares ALMOST all of its content with the Quran and the Torah.

That was a very interesting meeting. obama completely capitulated to Putin. The media did their best to ignore it. Either that or they've simply come to expect it.

obama's misguided strategy in Syria has been to overthrow Assad. Yesterday obama caved in on his failed policy. Fortunately. He knows he is too weak to counter Putin. The new policy agreed to yesterday is a Syrian led transition. That means Assad stays in power and Russia deals with ISIS while Obama continues to lead his coalition on the sidelines with his behind.

In the meantime, obama will refocus his efforts on bringing as many Syrian refugees to America as possible. Liberals will cheer this.

Which is actually quite false because the agreement they are discussing actually includes creating a new Syrian constitution and holding free and fair elections.

But just not too long ago you were saying that what we should is get Russia to cooperate with us and France even if Assad had to remain in power.

And it might be in the Huffington Post but its still written by Alastair Crooke and it lays out the whole history of the religious beliefs of ISIS, the modern history, and exactly why and how our good friends Saudi Arabia exported it to the rest of the Middle East. And of course why we in the west and especially in the US give them a pass on that.

What happened yesterday is that obama caved in to Putin by agreeing to a "Syrian led transition". That means Assad is staying. That means obama has wisely abandoned the policy to remove Assad. Obama knows how weak his administration is. So does Putin. So does David Cameron.

Cameron also met with Putin. Cameron let Putin know that it was time to "compromise" on the issue of Assad remaining in power. Assad is staying.
