Size matters. When it comes to VR devices, size, weight, comfort, and wearability are all major factors in the success of a product. Consumers have grown dissatisfied with cumbersome, unbalanced VR headsets that only allow short periods of use. Bigscreen Beyond 2 aims to address that concern and blow the competition out of the water.
Light Form, Heavy Tech
Weighing a mere 110 grams—comparable to a TV remote, bar of soap, or a medium orange—Bigscreen Beyond 2 offers superior comfort in a compact form. A well-considered design makes longer VR sessions more accessible and desirable than what most VR devices allow. (Meta Quest 3S weighs 514 grams; Apple Vision Pro weighs ~625 grams.)

One key to keeping Beyond 2 lightweight is its compact display technology, one feature of which has been made manually adjustable, while most top-line VR devices opt for automated adjustments. Upon first using Beyond 2, a user uses a hex tool to adjust the inter-pupillary distance of each lens to deliver the most manually customizable IPD of any headset on the market.
Micro OLED displays bring users 2560×2560 pixels per eye with a native refresh rate of 75 Hz upscalable to 90 Hz. Reportedly, visual performance is slightly hampered by black edges in the peripheral vision and slight aliasing, though it would be a stretch to call these significant issues.
Comfort and Control

True to its name, which suggests a cinema experience, Bigscreen Beyond 2 is optimized for stationary activities such as racing sims or similar games and for a personal home cinema experience. Obviously, this makes it an excellent choice for porn use. Beyond 2 being light and suited for longer sessions will surely appeal to porn fans, and given that most VR porn is a relatively stationary experience for the user, Beyond 2 could be the most appealing VR device of all for VR porn fans.
As a PC VR device, Bigscreen Beyond 2 requires some additional hardware: a Windows 10 or 11-based PC, SteamVR base station, DisplayPort and USB 3.0 port, Quad-Core Intel or AMD processor, 16 GB RAM, and either an RTX 2070 or AMD RX 5700 XT GPU.
Bigscreen Beyond 2 is now available for preorder. The base model is priced at $1,019 USD, and the eye-tracking-equipped model 2e is priced at $1,219. Beyond 2 comes in three colors: carbon black, crystal clear, and the limited edition nuclear orange.
