sexism for me is a great source material for jokes, but I don't agree or put up with it in real life.

It is slowly improving, but sexism is underwritten in the language we speak and many inner beliefs that our culture is built upon.

This term has become all too subjective in the last 25 years. If some `feminist' calls me this, then it can often be seen, that she doesn't `approve of me':-o Too bad for her!
Chauvinist is a better term, imo, for men and women.

Gloria Steinem first wrote about this term, as well as possibly Catherine McKinnon, to describe a lesser form of the `chauvinist" or `super patriot to a cause'.

I react like a natural man, I make no apologies to someone merely having tits. John Grey and talk shows did so much damage to the relationships between the sexes, of which at best there has been only a partial recovery.
