Natalie Joy has suffered another miscarriage while expecting a baby with husband Nick Viall.

The co-host of The Viall Files podcast, 26, revealed that she "miscarried again" in a candid Instagram Stories post on Sunday, March 23. She previously miscarried only months ago in January.

"While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again," Joy began. "It took some time for me to accept what had happened, only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast. But eventually, I found so much happiness. We were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude."

However, she continued, "This past week, I miscarried again."

As Joy further explained, she underwent D&C — or dilation and curettage — which is a procedure to remove tissue from inside the uterus, per the Mayo Clinic.

Describing the experience as "harder than I imagined," Joy continued, "It's going to take some time for me to feel like myself again, and honestly, I may never will, but I hope to keep y'all involved in whatever that may look like."

"Going back to squeezing my husband and my sweet angel River Rose, who are truly the reason I have survived this time and time," she added, referring to Viall, 44, and their daughter, who was born in February 2024.

Joy's post, which she concluded with a pink heart emoji, was then reposted by Viall, who shared a few photos of his wife playing with their 1-year-old on his own Instagram Stories account.

Joy, who wed her Bachelor alum husband months after they welcomed their first baby, previously opened up about actively experiencing a miscarriage earlier this year in the Jan. 29 episode of the couple's podcast.

As she explained, the pair found out Joy was pregnant with their second baby sometime before the miscarriage.

Calling the miscarriage "the biggest heartbreak, I think, of my life," Joy said, "I've never experienced something where I feel so empty inside."

"My sister has had 12 miscarriages, and it's like you feel sad and you wanna be there for these people, but you don't really know the loss that they feel until you go through it yourself," she added.

At the time, Viall said he didn't know how to react when he heard the news, explaining, "Even as a father, connecting with your unborn child is a process."

Joy also said on the podcast episode that she wants the couple's daughter to "be able to watch this back and see her parents' love for her sibling that could have been here."
